Oscar de la Hoya is a well-known boxing winner. He is an eminent sports personality in the boxing industry. Oscar was born on 4 February, 1973 in East Los Angeles located in California. He is the first person to be honored as the recipient of the American welterweight fighter to gain national prominence. In the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, he was awarded the gold medal. He earned huge popularity with this Olympic Gold medallion. Subsequently, he became one of the all time great sports men. In 1995, he was nominated as the “Fighter of the Year” by the famous Ring Magazine. In the year 2000, Oscar released a Latin Pop music album, the title comprising of his own name, which ultimately received a Grammy nomination.
